Up North Hey!

Hi all
Since Aug. 8th I have been on a job running high pole hauling Wind Turbine Generators. The rig is a 19 axle it is 198 feet long, 15'6 high with a gross weight of 373.000 lbs. There is a driver on the rear (Tiller) for making turns. The run is from Duluth,Mn to Adair,Ia It takes 2 days to get to the job site and 2 days to get back to the port about 1000 miles. We have 6 19 axle trucks on this project and have moved 74 Cells so far. We will finish this job in about a week and then we will g… Continue

We could start a CB only forum.
I think that would work better then mixing the two. Besides as hams we work both. But they can only use one side. then when we set up nets they can't join. But then again we could list the nets on both sides So maybe we would get a few of then in to the ham side and get that license too.

John I really like your web site wish I hgad someone ot work ion my site As for the Ham Gear all that stuff is like new still in the original boxes I just dont have the time to mess with it and the lightning is so bad in this area I'm afraid to put up an antenna I moved down here a few years ago and have never unpacked it I had a fantastic cabinet system in the house where I lioved before and it was a really neat set up If ya know any one wanting the gear let me know

I got into ARMY Mars last spring. So I play radio on and off the ham bands. APRS is great it gives a way that we as hams can find out where each other are working or hiding. A couple months ago I saw a friend call on my d-700 and I made a voice call on 52 he answered back wondering where I was.. The gps wasn't working so he didn't see me, But saw him
